Sounds like my bout with drugstore.com.
You may have discussed this in a previous post and I could just be completely blind, but what happened to make you unsub from Cody’s list (just asking, I was never subscribed in the first place)?
If you ceck out the older post..it was only one or two post before this one..
I have to say..one unethical man.
Rob
Hey there, normally I don’t post comments but I wanted to let you know 2 things I had to say.
First, did you ever buy one of his products or something? Almost every marketer uses several lists, and once you’re on 2 or more of them it gets really nasty.
When you unsubscribed, you most likely got kicked from 1 list. But you maybe on many others of the same man.
On the other hand, most of the times we want to be unsubscribed at the very moment. But I believe the Can Spam act gives 10 days to fully remove the subscriber from any lists.
And on the WF I read that his assistant wrote that email about refunding from Clickbank. Cody already apologised for that big blunder.
But I can agree with the fact that most of his emails are uselss. I never get any content, only promotions. And I don’t like his style…
Just my 2c,
Dave Origano
Hi all.
Cody changed his marketing tactics recently and is now a Spammer as far as I am concerned too.
I have unsub’d twice also. I now use the Yahoo “Spam” button for all his emails – every one!
There are complaints about him in other forums as well. Maybe he will get the message.

i was getting huge numbers of emails from Cody, often 1 or 2 a day, generally all promotional, but i had subscribed so i didn’t complain (although i thought it counter productive as i couldn’t be bothered opening).
the sticking point came when i did open one email because it was promoting “FREE” affiliate software from one of his mates, and to my great irritation & anger, it wan’t free at all. it was bundled with other software that you had to pay for.
so that did it for me. of course many of his emails i didn’t ever look at could all be doing much the same thing
(but i emailed him demanding the free software promised … waiting tio see response)
