I agree with you there ian, and also loved the “from twitter at stupid o’clock” time lol…
I’ll have to remember that as I’m often writing in the “stupid hours”.

There is another positive to working online, working during your better, more creative and productive hours whenever they may be.
I just happen to be a night owl in that regard.

Got your link from Twitter at stupid o’clock this morning and promised myself i’d come read your post this morning.
I so totally agree with what you have written here. I am a big fan of goal setting.. the big one (my big one is aug 2012) the medium termers (2011, 2010) and then the short termers broken down.
Having goals is THE ONLY THING that allows us to influence the change that WILL HAPPEN. It’s a pretty simple formula isn’t it
Having those monthly goals means we can break them down into simple daily activities, doable chunks, they keep us focussed and they are measureable.
I find the biggest challenge is knowing what activities will allow us to achieve those daily goals… that’s where a mentor comes in I guess… someone who has trodden the path you are following… That’s one of the things I love about Network Marketing. Success depends on helping others to achieve their goals, and the path to follow has already been created by those that go before.
So, I agree, focus on what we can give and share, focus on helping others to achieve
