"A great FREE traffic tips ebook" 16.9.08

When I got an email not to long ago with a free report for traffic tips, in all honesty I thought,
"not another free ebook for me to read"!

I will read them of course, you never know where you get a good tips from.

But this was different, no fluff and filler with it, just short easy to digest tips, often one line is all that's needed to say it.

"Social networking mastered" 8.9.07

Exciting times for you bloggers who actively use social networking, but only if you understand it and use it the right way.

Web 2.0 was what I had been eagerly waiting for, being deaf you can probably understand why. ;o)

Being a blogger meant it never passed me by, as blogging was part of interactivity (web.2.0) before the phrase web 2.0 was even coined, yet now it is making a big difference to my blogs, as well as me. ;o)

Believe it or not there are still lots of people who don't know what web 2.0 even means, or have yet to even hear of it.
Web 2.0 = better interactivity. ;o)

Using web 2.0 (social sites, etc) is the best thing you can possibly start doing if you are a blogger or website owner, after all you are already a part of it. ;o)

In my eyes the best way to get traffic to your blog, more so if it's a new blog is using the power of social networking, bookmarking sites etc.

Maximise what you have before getting more traffic and you get to make the most of the new traffic too, yes?
That's what I have been doing, and it works for me well, so now I started to think of ways to increase my traffic.

So I had a great surprise when I grabbed this new report, book, pdf, whatever label you give it and this book just reinforced the fact what I am already doing is the right things in the right way, but I can still do better... ;o)

While I already knew a fair bit of what this shares, (being a blogger almost 4 years made sure of that), it gave me new angles to look at what I already do and plan to do.

These new angles I can promise you will make a big difference to what I had planned anyway...great to see your own plans and ideas from another angle...it expands it. ;o)

While some people will look at things from a "will this make me more money" angle, the key to everything online is traffic, and more traffic can mean more money, right? ;o)

To me the traffic increase is what most people need, even if no intention to monetise that traffic is there, people still want more readers, right?

Of course, so I recommend everyone grab this report, read it and master it. ;o)

The biggest thing I can say is I KNOW it works because I have had success with it and I KNOW web.2.0 is what you should learn more about, even if you have no blog yet.
You are online, you use web 2.0!

"Shocking stats" 24.7.07

So over the last few weeks I have been getting back into the swing of things nicely and moving swiftly in the right direction, that's down to a few things.

Blogging by it's nature has ups and downs with posting, at times it can't be resolved as with my case.
Losing momentum was a key area for me and I believe it is an important thing with building a blog and giving the readers what they want...content.

During the offline hassle the blogs visitors dipped alot, naturally.
Now a month on, the blog's traffic has gone right back up to almost 3000 for July. :o)

Pleasing to say the least.
Averaging 100 a day is not to be sneezed at really.
Not my best month but still a good month and there is a week left yet.

Great to know at least you are happy to read the blog, thanks.

The bad side of the stats which surprised me was the fact the response to my offer in the post below was not as good as hoped, but not as bad as can be.

Well over 300 visitors in 3 days...to that blog post and 11 takers.

I can't believe it really, a service that will help you if you play your role and be 100% honest to yourself is not taken up, they miss the potential, yet...

If I had offered an ebook that was ok and you learnt things yet it just sat on your hard drive gathering dust it would have been snapped up by more people?!

Especially newbies who suffer lack of focus more than most.

Yet it did nothing to change things, because you read it and did nothing.? Wasted money.

Yet with my offer you would have HAD to take action or you would be wasting the money joining in the first place.

If you took NO action with with mine, fine...you are in the same position as you are AFTER buying the book....wasted money.

Strange this, so it's leading me to question alot of things.

Any opinions on this?








P.s Warriors...would it help to offer you a free warrior way book after you join?

"How to create a successful blog" 14.7.07

I am annoyed, I have been at this blogging lark a few years now, almost 4!

I won't say I am an expert, I know what I know though, and it's got me this far. ;o)

BUT I could have done so many things so much better and now I would have a much better situation for it.
It's never to late to change things and that's a wonderful thing about blogs...you can change and update things.

What if I had done it all the right way right off the bat though!?

I would be earning a full time living from blogging I reckon. ;o)

There are some things I have missed, you may ask how I know now what it is I missed.
I just read something that really opened my eyes and it cost me BUGGER all! ;o)

Bargain...and priceless learning for me.

The funny thing is I have blogged almost twice as long as the author...damn I need to pay more attention! :o)

That's not to say I should know more, just that you never know who you will learn things from.

If only I had the blueprint when I started blogging!

Grab it free and read it whether you are new or seasoned at blogging, even better if you have yet to start.
Imagine you implemented all this into your blogs from day 1?

At least I know every new blog I do will have a better chance of success.
Also you may see big and small changes around here. ;o)

For me this fantastic book joined alot of the dots as well as highlighted the small things that would have better influenced the bigger things.

I will be taking more notice of page 13, which will of course set the tone for the rest of the blog!

I also will capitalise more on page 25, which I do already but underestimated it a fair bit. ;o)

If I had done chapter 25 better, then I would be feeling the real effects of pages 26, 27...which would mean 28 would have been explosive!

Grab it read it, and make sure you are NOT on page 48!

"One step at a time" 20.3.07



Will get you ANYWHERE!

No one jumps straight to success...it takes hard work, time, learning, applying, tweaking, testing.

So much more than an ebook can tell you.

Don't make the common mistake of buying into this or that, then jumping to something else when you feel it "don't work", the truth is everything needs work, work at making things work.
Once you get ONE thing working, then move onto the next thing.
ONLY if it helps your work though, don't jump on it for the sake of jumping on it!


Nothing just happens itself.

Taking action is the key.
If you are really wanting to get moving, start with articles.

This will mean you have REAL content.

The beauty of this article report is you can add the link to your blog, lens, and get your money back and more just for sharing it.
Each article is a funnel for your traffic, have somewhere to lead that traffic though, like a blog, or a squidoo lens.

But...

One step at a time eh!

The thing is once you start taking the steps you are definately nearer to your success.
Once you have a momentum going you can jog to your success.

Till then...learn to walk one step at a time!

"You dissapoint me" 14.3.07

The last week has taught me some big lessons, mainly things I would never have thought about. It was only the fact I got things moving and started paying attention to things I noticed yet didn't expect.

I learnt lessons about alsorts, interesting ones, surprising ones, and sadly dissapointing ones!

The biggest lessons I learnt were centred on me, about myself and I am glad to have learnt new things.
That's what life is all about after all, learning, growing and expanding.

Having got alot of work done and starting off in the right direction at least I know I can do it and always improve it as I go and I will.

Getting the Warrior book done was a big plus, it's bringing something in though from the people I least expected it to be from.

I know it is a very targeted niche of people, yet I did it in a sense of giving back as well as the possible return for contributing there too.

There are those who bought it, maybe in all honesty because I wrote it, maybe as a way of helping me out, that's great, what was better they liked it.

Others dissapoint me!

I digress...

I got told something by a friend...a real mate, an offline mate that made me think.

"Rob...you're too fu*king nice!" in his exact words!

hhhm... well I did touch upon it in an older post on here where I asked...

"Do I have to tell people to f*k off before they take any notice?

Yes I was angry hence the swearing...I am an adult so I am allowed to!

Anyway...the point was it seems so many take more notice of the jerks out there. What a crock of shit.

If I had created a book...

"Make a gazillion in 24 hrs at the press of a fu*king button"

Yours for ONLY $19.99... I would have sold hundreds!

What the hell's the matter with these people?

Anyway, bollox to it, I got some interesting lessons from it all that I can learn from that is the main thing.

Whatever....

"The Warrior way" 8.3.07

Many of you know I am a regular visitor at the Warrior forum, a good place to learn all about Internet marketing, and more.
If you have a problem or question you can get a rapid answer there, they will help you if they can.

It's been said that the forum has literally influenced millions in deals, I could believe that, quite easy, after all there is a sticky thread there called "How this forum can make you $50,000 or more", quite a good thread too, lots of inspiring tales of success, overcoming failure etc.

All good.

Something I have been doing, and doing happily is failing fast!

It's those fast failures that become the stepping stones to success, the more I fail, the nearer I am to success.
Some may scoff at that, but I DO believe it to be true.

How fast do you think the failures for the light bulb invention happened before it succeeded?
Take your time and you may never get there!

So...the Warrior forum is full of fast failures on the way to success...a fair few have reached success, after all not many will give up, THAT is the biggest failure, giving up!

I am NOT giving up, that's for sure.
I will continue to learn, apply, and improve too.

I see so many people go to the Warriors and blow it, blow an opportunity to learn something of value, build the important needed parts to succeed online.

It's a shame, they don't really appreciate what it offers because they don't give it long enough to see what it could really do for them.

So for those and even the known Warriors I wrote a book which will be of help to them.

It's called : "The warrior way", it's new and an asset if you really want to make the Warriors work for you, instead of against you.

You can see there has been a couple of satisfied buyers at the review section, bearing in mind I only finished it last night, I am pleased it's selling AND they like it. ;o)

Although based on the warrior forum, it's good info on making the right moves in any forum.

Hopefully it will do want I wanted it to do...that is help people.

What are your thoughts on this?

Less of the bollox please.. 5.3.07

In keeping with sticking to my true self I am gonna have to start telling you what I really think, what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear, you can buy that at most hype pages if you want it.

Enough is enough, it is crazy yet you know what it is also very interesting, it wont stop!

I had enough of the crap, all sides of it and I don't believe I am the only one.

Yet the mass of contradictions, multilevel ones, ones you miss, or don't yet know about, leave a giggle inside of me, each time I notice it!

So I will share this shit with you...wise up, I am kicking myself in ways and now I maybe you will kick yourself too.

All the bashing crap, from both sides is a little bemusing, I could care less really anymore, other than seeing it for what it is, a mass of crazy contradictions.

I am not JUST talking of bashing people etc in forums, I am also talking about:

"labelled (read guru or whatever you wish) ebook sellers selling the sizzle" and... newbies saying "They sell this crap and It didn't make me rich" crap too.

It's one big joke honestly...

Those sellers sell sizzle because the buyers buy it!

Simple really...is it not?

When does the steak come in?

I am in no means one of the people "raking it in", not by ANY stretch, but having been into this IM circle a while, one thing as mentioned above has not changed.

Anyway...Its all bollox whatever way you look at it.

Where was I?

Ah... I don't sell sizzle...so maybe I am making a mistake?

Not really...I don't WANT to try and sell sizzle.

I would rather have gravy... ;o)

Without the sizzle and steak the gravy is pretty useless!

YOU provide them...not you BUY them.

Get it straight...the sizzle is the dream...YOUR dream, NO-one can sell that to you.

Your steak is your work and your recipe is your efforts...NO-one can sell that to you.

The gravy...you can get tubs of it from any shop... ;o) cheap too.

Gravy is the income! The reality.

Start looking at things objectively, a mechanic has a dream as a kid, teen, to fix cars, change them , "pimp them up" as they say, the sizzle is the same theme, yet different pictures to each of them.

Unique in each one.

The tools to do it are the same, spanners etc, the shops sell the tools, the teachers at the college and your trainer at the garage are your
Steak chefs and recipe providers.

The gravy is your talent, your knowledge.

The reality is, most of the mechanics end up stuck in a 9 to 5 garage job doing basic car fixing, after doing the training, never really moving from there, possibly never "pimping a car for money", rather as a side hobby, which COST them.

Those who really get the quality gravy are those who DO get out of the 9 to 5 and "specialise", they get to gravy the choose, get to pimp cars for money, the work selling itself.
NOT selling your time at a low rate...ie 9 to 5!

That reminds me, those that sell "how to make money selling "how to make money" ebooks" are in a sense another contradiction, they say, "get into a niche, make money doing that" but sell you a book on making money online in a niche?

They say don't get into "selling books on making money selling books"... why not?, it looks like it pays!
See that contradiction there, then you realise allot of these people selling these DO use niches... hmmm.

Whatever way you want to look at it, there is hard work involved.

If you are new to this the best advice I could give you is to start taking action, whatever action you choose, just DO it.

If you are that stuck, heres an idea to get you really going, action will inspire you.

It is NOT hard at all.

Grab this..book, now be honest with yourself and find a topic you know about, see if there is money in that niche, see what YOU can find if you are new, that gives you an idea of what others will find if they are newish.

Now write some good solid articles using that books methods, use the now well known free BUM matketing method.

Now grab a Blogger account, and this free seo book, READ that, it will give you the plan to follow.

Post at least ONE article every three days to the blog, and one to the article directory of choice.
Link them as told in the book.

Set up a squidoo lens on your topic too, add rss feed from your blog to it.

$7 bucks that all cost you!

Now DO IT. Create YOUR content, it will pay in time.

Get going, see what happens, track you stuff, improve as you go.
Do it for a month.

You will be glad you did.
You will have done something.

Now set up a seperate blog on blogger for YOU, write all your thoughts etc there, keep yourself on track etc, ideas, results.
Use it for what it is, a diary of sorts, even make it private.

Its gone on long enough...step up to the bloody plate! 3.3.07

Well it's something I have to say in the mirror, but I am also asking YOU to step up the plate too, and inspire me further.

I am pissed off but also happier for it, something really made me stop today and think, this is also going to benefit you too because it made me decide to do it.

I already posted in the last one about I need to change things anyway, well one big part of that is the fact I post too much in the forums...it's true, I DO.

Someone said today, "listen any forum could go.."poof", overnight and be gone"...

He is right...
It IS true....
Ask one warrior about his forum!

You WILL know who it is soon enough! ;o)

I digress.... you should think about what I am saying here in all seriousness.
So..think about that, how much writing you and we all put into a forum...that's a hell of a lot, stuff that could be on your blog, articles, etc, real CONTENT YOU CONTROL.

Lets get real here, I am NOT saying stop posting, just saying it IS real content, there are some real gems on the forums, even post you should save and read plenty of times...so much value in most of the best ones.

Think how many books, blogs all that would create, if you did.
While I think its great, I have a confession to make, I don't, or haven't, given enough really GREAT post to these forums, like some do without naming people.

Well... I will, because I decided to post less often, but better content.

YET I also realise the best content I should give is the content I own, like here on this blog.
I want YOU making comments and reading this blog, I read most of yours. ;o)

As well as other means I own, like reports, ebooks, and articles.
It's evergreen content if you choose it to be.

So, as I say blog about it is what I am going to do, but also share decent real content, I often get real "out of the box" ideas, ideas I will never probably do, why bloody waste them?
Some of them are damn crazy, but pieces of them could be worthy to someone.

I will blog it and let someone else benefit crazily from it.If one day it happens to be YOU that runs with it, great.

If the ideas are crap...I wont last long sharing them!

But if anything I am going to do this just because I can.
I want to.

The other thing I know I will want to start doing is something that ties in nicley here, a newsletter, because I KNOW I wont push crap, and will provide content, stuff I may not even write elsewhere, seeing as its private. ;o)

But you know what...

I've realised I CAN write, and I think pretty ok too, so I will also do a newsletter as soon as possilbe, I already have the perfect role models. ;o)

So... I am going to step up to the plate...but also want you to step up to the plate by helping me step up.
I bet alot of you are sick of hearing about "bum marketing", "$7 reports", "wso's", and plenty of other terms, etc.

There is alot of stuff I am sick of hearing about but I digress, here is an interesting idea that might help YOU, or at least inspire some of you that do struggle, to DO something, something evergreen too, something that you CAN do.

About time some of you acted on some ideas and created some good stuff!
I KNOW most of you are able to do it.

It HAS to fit your plans, or be adaptable to your plans.
This is one you CAN ans SHOULD be doing.

Alot of people moan about "snake oil this" snake oil that", and while I understand that, I also feel it's a shame, its STILL making them money!

Get out of that trap, start ONLY getting good stuff, and

ACTING on it, start buying what HONEST people tell you works or is worth buying, make sure you CAN and DO use it.

Litsen up, here is something I WANT you to TAKE on board, and I may even do a post about JUST this, IM and online marketing is a MINDSET, adictive one too, don't believe me?, right try and stop thinking about it, if you are in this niche.

Try getting to sleep within minutes of going to bed.

I'll help you if you help me, and then we all pay it forward to others.

Ok, well lets crack on...

Don't give me any crap about you can't do this, you can...and hopefully you will.

Tell ya what I will even make a fair bet with ya!

Before I get to that bet...

I am honest and I tell you this is one of those things I think...DAM, I wish I had done that!
And you what else, I will do what it tells, so will you.

Yeah... I was impressed, and I am no hype seller.
Honest marketing is the way with me...full stop, hype sucks, it's just that, hype.

The bet..

Try it, if you fail, I will give you more than the value worth in free stuff myself...BUT you will have to proove you did it, only those who get it thorugh my link though.

You gotta give it a few weeks to really see BIG results.
But hey I think you will have doubled your money within ten days! ...only MY opinion though, you maybe a lazy bugger. ;o)

Do this, even if you ended up getting it before reading this somewhere else do this, post in comments here about the idea here.

Grab this book, it IS by the newsletter role model of mine, someone I KNOW dishes out 100% quality stuff, and I just read this, several parts really got me thining and kicking myself, pretty hard.

You know dam well articles work, and they ARE easy enough to do, especially with this blueprint.

Now act on it, but wih a twist..

Even just simply...

Use the methods to presell this report... its a 100% commission one, and perfect.

If you have a niche, create the evergreen article for your niche using the methods, make it a good solid effort, submit to say ezinearticles, but also point it to another great article on your niche blog, site, where that article is preselling how you create articles for that niche so easy, with your link at the bottom to THIS book, report, point out they get 100% comission too.

Right under that, have a link to an offer to buy 5 top quality articles you also wrote for your niche, using the book's methods, as a smple package for them, the same cost as the book.

Now you gave them a choice, yet the same price, and they will most likely grab ONE of them.
Just in case, have your newsletter sign up box on that page too, in the sidebar.

If the articles are good and they can use them 5 on their sites, with your bio box pointing back to the same article preselling as mentioned, on all 5 articles.

If thay bring in traffic, the likelyhood is the person is going to end up buying the book through your link, and crank out articles of their own.

I bet the first article you write if done well ends up doing good in google, and bringing you that all important fresh cycle of people, all going to your preseller. ;o)

More buyers... do this is several niche sites and you could love this book.

So.. you go for it with this, and help me get my camera.
