As I mentioned in a recent post, I have updated this blog to the latest WPress 3.0 and if you haven’t yet noticed a difference reading this you will when you click that link, then come back here.
Spot it?
The header image at the top is different and something I have tried doing with scripts in the past, never getting it quite right. WPress 3.0 allows it with a simple click, so maybe you will see different header images on here from now on.
Not always, just sometimes if I fancy adding one, it does get me thinking about sorting out a big batch of images to use for this purpose. It also gets me thinking more on moving my other Portland blog onto WPress again too.

If you liked that, try these...

I am very excited about what I am hearing in regards to WP 3, headers has also always been a bone of contention for me, for all my blogs, can’t wait to try it out. Have you had any issues with it? I always like to wait for bugs to be worked out before changing.

Yeah as I say in the post, headers were always a bit of a nuisance… not anymore though as seen on the few recent post here.
Other than that only seen a glitch or two in the dashboard, sure they will iron that out, so… happy days!

I also recently upgraded to WordPress 3.0. I really like it so far. In fact I like it so much that I switched from the other theme I was using over to the generic theme that comes with version 3. I really like the way that it looks and how easy it is to read. The header thing was a big deal for me too. They put some pretty decent looking stock headers in there.

Hi kathy,
Glad you liked it too, i am using the same theme here and will probably stick to it.
Why not, simply, clean and it works.

That is quite awesome – hadn’t noticed it before!
I must say the thing about WP 3.0 that I love best so far is performance. It really feels like they’ve fixed a lot, the site seems to run so much smoother and I’m always eager to try out new plugins and the like.

Glad you now spotted it.
It was something I have tried doing before with scripts etc, and failing!
So, I like it alot.
As for the version 3.0 itself, I am still learning more about it, need to sort a menu out and test that, also agree, it is running nicely, no glitches lately for me either.
Happy days…
