I think that was part of the reason James set up an email subscriber form on his site, people were missing post due to the frequency rate that he post at, sensible and feedburner is good in the sense it delivers all post made in one email.

Nor have I on here really, just starting to slap a few in though as I think over time it may help a little, but I agree, always write for people first, machines second.

I think people carry more weight than google in some ways.

Truth to be told, I’ve never focused on keywords. I want to build an digital empire around my blog, and I believe that if you’re truly unique and creating inspiring, mind-blowing content, then you don’t need to worry about keywords AT ALL !

It’s always about people, and if people love you, so will Google

I’m not sure it matters on the frequency. Although the danger is that readers miss great content and dilute your readership.

People simply can’t read everything you post.

Maybe some people subscribe from RSS feeds because people post to often. I don’t know. Truth I guess is that if you have great contents along the lines of the keywords you suggest, people are going to hunt you out.

All this keyword business is warping my brain. Grapple. I’m glad you’re doing the thinking for me, so if I understand this correctly, I just have to cruise by and pick up tips. Phew.

I guess the important thing for those machine-like bloggers to understand is that some of the world can’t keep up with that pace. And the slower, less often posting types also need to realise that half the world won’t read a post longer than, I dunno, let’s just say X. Cop out. But you know what I mean.

I get bemused by people saying it, tons of content equals cash… a bit like people say tons of traffic equals cash… neither is right or wrong, too many variables in it to even say one way or the other on anything other than what we do and test and know ourselves.

You’re so right some do think that masses of content equals massive amounts of cash, simply isn’t true.
