Everyone needs it, sadly..
Money…
That’s a 5 letter word that causes so many problems for so many people, sadly the world seems to revolve around it.
We have a relationship with it…
Mine has never been a great one which stems back to childhood, the truth is, it’s not the money, it was a reaction to other peoples reaction to money…
Let’s face it, how many self made rich people were brought up poor?
What changed them? …
Likely it was their reaction to their parents reaction to money that gave them that drive, we hear it, many of them say “We were poor, my parents struggled, I want to make sure my kids aren’t poor” something that’s understandable to most of us.
It works the other way too… too much emphasis on money at the cost of the more important thing, the relationship with those around you, after all kids don’t care about money, they learn alot whether you have it or not.
The problem is… Everywhere.
The system is set up this way, we have to rely on money and I think that’s a crap situation but it’s not something we can avoid (yet!) that includes me, you…
The one good thing is my lads have more likelihood of a better relationship with money than I did, mainly because I have never made money the be all and end all, I knew the downside of that.
Money is the means to an end, as we all know.
But we all still need it. Which is why I have to change my own relationship with money…
I have to start being ok with selling stuff and more, I have to shatter the glass ceiling I imposed over myself, it’s us that put them there.
Which is why I am now going to share with you something I created a few years ago, something many of you will enjoy, if you know me at all you know I love the Isle of Portland … and I hope that many of you will come to love it, at least you will see why I am glad to have grown up here.
Well, that’s one thing I can add to the income stream I have to replace having lost my offline work due to the lack of it.
Should you buy this to enjoy… I say thank you.

You should never feel bad about selling stuff as long as you are confident that stuff is providing real value to people. That is the rule that I use. I just don’t sell something that I don’t believe in. That way I will never intentionally steer someone wrong.

The relationship with money can be evil I think but only if we make it that way. I agree with how people are brought up and how they view money. I want money but don’t really want many material objects, I believe part of the reason is that we never lacked when I was growing up.
Even though I don’t have as much as when I was growing up, it does not seem to matter as much…..odd huh?

Makes sense to me…
I don’t think it’s if we make it that way…. it happens, I didn’t choose it to be this way…
Rob, I was watching a special episode of the Dragons Den (like Shark Tank in the US) here in Canada which did a profile of the five dragons. The interesting thing in all five cases was that they all started poor. In some cases, poor to the point of silly but hard work made them all wealthy and in many cases … wealthy to the point of silly
