Beautiful Chesil beach

What beautiful weather we are having, cold, bitterly cold but so nice, and perfect for a walk or a bike ride, though I am missing company (nice to bump into you again today, shame you were not on a bike, soon eh?)Β  it’s still nice for me to get back out on the bike lately.

What’s not to like being in a place like this?Β  Over looking Chesil beach here on Portland.

It will certainly be nicer once this cold gets past us and it warms up nicely, soon be spring.

This is helping me pack up smoking in a big way getting out and exercising, I am beating it,Β  I am going to have to bite the bullet and pick a day and just stop, that’s it.

Go to church more…

I mean…

God knows, I’m learning…

Writing

Write more it’s healthy. πŸ˜€

School is supposedly some of the best days of our lives, we all know that’s not due to the education, it’s the carefree no responsibility life we lead as kids.

We all would do better if we went back with our current mindset as we know the value of the education for our future. As a kid while there you really didn’t think of it that way, not for most, you just got on with being a kid in a school. πŸ˜‰

It’s set up one core principle in us all. The urge to learn… for everyone.

The one thing that continues no matter what we do in life, birth to death, a massive series of little lessons that shape us along with the choices we make… we learn, constantly.

We have to just look for the lesson in everything.

It’s hardly school education that gives us the best lessons in life. Self education is probably more important in so many ways and far more rewarding as we get to choose what we learn about. In that sense the world really is your oyster.

What I am choosing to learn about…

A dire poet

Sigh… no idea what happened, looks like wordpress updated and bingo, the blog sorted itself out nicely. Well it’s at least how I need it to be, not going to the old set up. May well have to delete that old set up completely and redo the post, maybe improve them.

So… At last, back to how it should be and a few changes made and more to come yet so it’s looking better on that score.

I have a better plan of action to get cracking with in regards to this blog and other things I’d like to get started with, all good to keep me active. . .

So, whats happening now, well interestingly enough I seem to have found a dire poet in me due to life and its strange ways of teaching us things, love, strife, you know what I’m getting at.Β  πŸ˜‰

Pain, heartache and stress does strange things to people. I was hurting, from nowhere all these poems started pouring out of me, I were writing them and then sharing them immediately to my Instagram page, it was odd but strangely therapeutic and it certainly helps getting it out while the flow happens, healing benefits have happened in a way now. Bonus πŸ˜‰

The dire poet part itself was an amusing thing and I even wrote (yep you guessed it) a poem about it πŸ˜‰ …

Portland Bill exposed and it’s beautiful

portlandbill-lightouse

What a busy few days for me. It’s all good though and alot can be said for focus and direct action. Without it not much gets done. Whodathunkit!

WHAT next? More of the same πŸ˜†

I needed it to distract my over-the-top-with-worry mind recently. Thankfully it’s lessened alot over the last couple of days due to positive news. Β πŸ˜€

So, just what have I been up to? … Β  Continue reading “Portland Bill exposed and it’s beautiful” »

500th post has me wondering if facebook hit it’s tipping point?

chesil beach sunset

Beautiful sunset under grey skies… the golden mile!

Portland’s golden mile. . . These sunsets here are fantastic, lucky us. How can anyone complain with that view? I’m not! πŸ˜€

This is the 500th post on here, though it should be far higher, it’s still a good milestone.Β Thanks to you all for sticking it out, hi to all new readers, hoping you stick around too.

*High five* to y’all.

So, what do I write about now? πŸ˜†

Other than me waffling on about this site and such… only a little, promise! πŸ˜‰

I thought it be interesting to talk about the landscape online and where I think it’s going, what it means for you as a user. . . there is so much out there, what should we use, why?

The changing landscape online has me both excited and bewildered to a point, I can see it’s pluses and negatives. So much interaction going on yet so much noise. Never this noisy offline! Oh wait… well… being deaf helps πŸ˜†

Let’s dig in…
