What a busy few days for me. It’s all good though and alot can be said for focus and direct action. Without it not much gets done. Whodathunkit!
WHAT next? More of the same 😆
I needed it to distract my over-the-top-with-worry mind recently. Thankfully it’s lessened alot over the last couple of days due to positive news. 😀
So, just what have I been up to? …
It’s be fun setting up new blogs, learning again with all the new themes and the new functions, the website results too, with the fancy sliders and stuff. Though at first I felt it all a bit odd it’s growing on me, and probably would more if I was an avid mobile user.
It is interesting that mobile use overtook desktop use this last year, something to watch closely for any webmaster/blogger/seller, buyer, whatever.
So, the new Portland Bill site is now live, go check it out, share the post, comment on the post, enjoy the pics.
Pictures like this…
Beauty eh? Lucky us!
Creating that site with my mate Dan was fun and interesting, I learnt alot about the new stuff involved in wordpress and sites in general. Must admit, shortcodes are handy, shame they were around when I first got on wordpress! *Sigh*, them bloody days and nights I’ll never get back?!!
Using a wordpress theme with it’s own editor was a new experience. Baffling at times, genius at others. Sound about right that eh.
We got good plans for the Portland site, and implement them we will. Would love to hear what you think of it, comments (post below) always welcome. . . unless yer a spammer, then you get deleted and ignored! 😆 If you want to stay updated on what we plan for it, subscribe to this site too. 😉 I mean…
Everyone uses email, right?
Prefer to see these blog post in email?
New email and Rss on here simply because feedburner is dead, almost. Well done google ruining that along with the reader, shame that. Still, I think this new one IS better. 😉
Way better. . . try it. Check it out on the sidebar >> email one near my pic, or RSS feed icon a little further down.
The actual reader they provide is great, I can see great potential with the filters etc. Only get what YOU want in there, even from individual sites, blogs. Hence specific feeds 😉
Rss is not dead… but it’s used less and less by the masses, email on the other hand is going nowhere. The only time I can see Rss readers getting used as it did again is if people start to feel like they have info overload and too many places they have to go to see this info. You know, like why Rss readers started! 😉
A few more subtle changes I need to make, then I guess it’s getting back into the groove again.
