It's worried me for some time, Rob, that you use up too much of your undoubted writing skills in the service of other people. You often make excellent contributions to other people's forums - but it's their Adsense ads that are showing at the top of the page.

Spend a bit more of your time and energy on writing things for yourself that you can monetize.

Pearson

It IS worth it :)

Just confirming what you already know. We all go through phases where we question certain things, and strive to improve on our productivity and efficiency.

Also - it doesnt take negativity, controversy or an abrassive personality to succeed or attract readers. I think I am proof of that. As is Alice "the marketing sweetie" Seba ;-) .

Being lonesome can sometimes cloud the best of judgement. I've been through some of those same thoughts, so I can relate. Making some local friends made a big difference for me - if that's an option for you.

By the way, I'm not sure if I ever shared this with you or not... but I am partially deaf myself. I lost some of my hearing in an accident in 1994 where I was also paralyzed - but fortunately recovered miraculously. I dont do things like "surround sound" or conversation in noisy public places or movie theatres very well.

I can only imagine what it must be like for you to live with the total loss of hearing. Of course, there are some great online social groups (in addition to business groups). In fact, I play cards online quite a bit in my 'free time' :)

Best,
Lynn Terry
