I've been through some of those same thoughts, so I can relate. I lost some of my hearing in an accident in 1994 where I was also paralyzed - but fortunately recovered miraculously. I dont do things like "surround sound" or conversation in noisy public places or movie theatres very well.<br /><br />I can only imagine what it must be like for you to live with the total loss of hearing. Of course, there are some great online social groups (in addition to business groups).
