Susan? Margret???

I am grateful for every comment... BUT I do have a spam crap will be deleted policy on here. Your name already links to a site / blog, so there is no need for the spammy link you left, plus you lose a little credibility using two names. ;o)

Other than that, if you are genuine, glad you like the blog.
hope you comment again, but NO link like that as it is not a link farm and not a clever way to get a "backlink" to be honest. Normally I would delete it. Else all the spammers find it and start.

If you comment again, please leave the link off.

Pete, I doubt any of us think about it when young... life is funny, so true when they say youth is wasted on the young.

If only we all learnt these things a bit earlier in life. :o)

Take care mate,

Rob

Well Rob I can honestly say I alwyays gave of my best but sometimes fell a little short of the mark. I have been lucky that in my later life the self control I lacked when needing to take some time off from work was forced on me by my heart condition and then but only then then did I take the time to love and appreciate all the things I once took so much for granted the fragility of life in itself the most precious of gifts and now so short a time left wish I had discovered this all so much earlier. Alas one can not put a wise head on a young shoulder in arrogance I and all others will blunder through life in the same old way

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the comment and kind words on the blog. :o)

I agree with you there, sadly it's the truth, it does usually take something happening to makes us think. I am starting to think life is full of way to many distractions, we don't need much, we have already got what matters most.

Like they say, "it's not a dress rehearsal, it's real, this is it, one chance"...make the most of it, but don't sweat the small things, what matters is to enjoy it and appreciate it.

No matter what life throws your way, there is always someone else out there far worse off.
That's the main reason deafness doesn't bother me, never has.

Life is short, but it's there to live not wish away. :o)

Thanks again for the comment Paul.

Rob

This is a great blog Rob and very very true. Unfortunately it seems to take something huge and usually devastating in your life to realise what you have around you, what great friends and family you have around you and to realise these are the things that matter in your life and to appreciate them. Even when you do realise, sometimes it is all too easy to lose your way again as you focus on work etc, its reading things like this Rob that makes you stop and think again, and make you appreciate what's important, which we all need to do. Thanks for putting things into perspective again mate, keep it up.

Paul Coonan

You are right there Jeanmarie.

It only takes a few seconds to stop, look around, and appreciate things, appreciate being alive, being able to do the things we can, the things we can enjoy, where we are, as you said. :o)

Thanks for the comment.

Rob
