Beautiful drawing
stunner! 🙂

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say… just as well I got great eyesight! 😀

It’s a drawing, believe it or not! 😮

As anyone who knows me knows I love drawing and I’m pretty good at it if I say so myself.

But that… is some talent.

Yes I wish I had done it…

Then again, if I was that good, I wouldn’t be blogging like this, I’d be sharing the drawings on here!

Any artist would be wise to make the most of sharing the talent they have online, its easy to do, has a great reach and will likely help make sales!

Showcase your talent! 😉

The beauty of the internet is that it’s the ultimate showcase for talent and there has never been a better time to showcase a talent you may have, no matter what it is, no matter how obscure it is there will always be someone interested in it, in fact the more niched it is the better you are likely to do.

Talent trumps many things

It’s not all about expertise, knowledge, tips, whatever, I read this crap everywhere and I think in a way it’s a bit of bullshit, even I have likely said it before but look I am an expert in stonemasonry, do you think a blog about it will make me rich?

No, me neither, unless it was specifically selling stone work which is not something I’d want to do anyway, I’d have to keep producing new work and there is never a residual income from it.

Yes, it is a talent but it’s also something that is expensive for buyers and hard to monetise in the way I would like to do it.

I had great ideas to utilise but doing it would be alot of hassle, something I didn’t have the patience for at the time.

So not all talent is easy to monetise though it’s easy to showcase any talent.

No talent, no problem

No to say you have to have talent, or talent is what you should share with others, not all of us are talented in any case, which leaves you utilising expertise, knowledge, passions, whatever…

But if you really have a talent, then yes, utilise it and share it because you never know where it leads.

Whatever talent you have you won’t be the only one who admires it, yet if you don’t share it, who will know about it? 😉

What’s your talent?

Hi Rob. Nice to meet you. I just landed to your blog from The InfoPreneur. Nice blog!

I agree that if you have talent, you should show it to the world. I think some people hide their talent because they are embarrassed and would rather use the talent for their own purposes. And if you don’t have talent, you just have to worker harder for it. People like Bill Gates, Jet Li, and Alicia Keys spent many hours working on developing a skill which made them really talented people.

My talent? I guess I’m still working on my writing and blogging skills. Thanks for this post Rob. 🙂

      Hi Hulbert,

Thanks, nice to meet you too… I checked out your blog, I LIKE it 😉

I know a few people like that, seemingly embarrassed about their talent, in fact they don’t seem to think they have a talent… crazy really, I have had to tell them, “hey, I think it’s a talent…and I bet I am not the only one” 😉

A shame really that many people can’t see what they do is indeed something different to others.

I agree… what I find a shame is the fact many people never get to realise what their talent is, even miss it when it’s under their nose.
Rob´s last blog post ..Wake up small minded people, think!
