“The truth of the Warriors”

update**
Allen flat out LIED on the forum today saying people were warned before deletion.
Well I was NOT! And EVERYONE on there knows it.
**

Anyone who knows me knows I do not hold back and I do not “sugar coat” things.
I will tell it the way I see it. If what I say bothers you, don’t read it.

Many of you will have recently seen what has been happening in the warrior forum, indeed myself being deleted unfairly was one of them but then I am not the only one!

Why should THAT matter to you anyway?

Well I was almost up to 5000 post and have contributed to the forum for almost 4 years and if they can treat me that way they can do it to you too.

So am I writing this because I am bitter?
NO!

I am writing this because I feel let down and I feel what I contributed to the forum has been dismissed…almost 5000 post they just casually dismissed at the press of a button, not bitter but disappointed.

Not only that…the mod who deleted me has NO backbone to even admit to doing it.

Is that the action of a decent person? No I didn’t think so either…they are simply a coward.

There has been a number of long term posters with high post count who have been unfairly treated although also a few of the big names have left…including someone you all know well…
J Reese.

Although John left of his own accord I can imagine he was pretty angry and annoyed by it all when it happened, I feel he was let down by Allen badly..I wonder if HE felt that?

Bear in mind although I do not really know what went on in Johns mind at the time, I can only presume, which I won’t do.

Here I will be saying what I think about the whole situation and how I think it will be going in the future and why NOW may be the best time for you to really think about your role in the warrior forum.

Look at the fact that ONE mod had been made n/a before… say’s alot.

Why help them with great content and also traffic when they so obviously don’t give a rats ass about you?

Stick to putting your best content on what YOU own.

Before I go further let me take a moment to explain the way I have seen the warrior forum’s wealth being distributed there.
The “big guys” don’t need Allen or his forum, they have left him behind, John Reese proved that.

John publicly slammed the forum, since then Allen KNOWS if he is to keep the “big guys” onside he will have to change things regarding the so called “negativity” which is not as bad as it is made out.

The fact is the bigger you are, the more you get hassle in some ways and that is what happens here.

But it probably hurt Allen to see John do that…I can assure you this is a factor else things would NOT be the way they are.

Ready for a shocker?

Allen needs YOU more than you need HIM.

Over the years there has been some great IM careers that started right there in the forum, but now I feel those days are GONE!

And Allen KNOWS it!

Shame for him, he made money from them sharing their little morsels…look at Mike F now for an example…he comes in throws morsels to the members and they lap it up.

Someone even pointed out to me that Mike has in his BFM ebook (manual?) exactly what happens in places like the warriors regarding “fans” and “bashers”, if you have it…try and find it.

He is quick to jump in when his fans are losing the argument.

There are others who Allen is trying to keep “onside” and we all know who they are.

The way they promote themselves on the forum…

Yet YOU do that and it’s promotional…it gets deleted!

One rule for some…one rule for others.

BUT he also knows one or two of you he can use to create some income, in fact he has already started doing that…look well enough and you can see it.

He is the bitter one really, think about it!

Why did he chase down the higher posting ladies there, I can name at least 3 he has chased out of the forum, and that’s just THIS year.
I also know there are one or two who he is watching, yes waiting for ONE slip up and bang they will be gone!

Who? I won’t say…you will see it for yourself.

Make sure you are NOT relying solely on that place for income.
It IS the most FICKLE forum out there.

Lets get something straight about the way I see Allen, he must get bored easy with things, look at the things he has done over the years…great start then they die off.

I had respect for the guy but sadly he has blown that recently and I KNOW I am not alone regarding that.

Buy then why should he care…he ONLY cares about the BIG guys who draws the newbies in, where the morsels can be chucked at them thus earning HIM and THEM money…yet it’s YOUR money they are getting!

Sod that!

If you want to help THEM get rich then go for it…better for you to have money coming IN than out so create and sell…that’s what I am going to concentrate on.

There is ONE way you can really make some serious money there…become the “next biggish guy” and being “flavour of the month”….like Jon Leger did.

Easy? NOPE.

There are others in front of you in that queue!…Look closely and you will see who..
Look closer and you will see how it became that way for them.

Yes I am serious, that and the fact Allen KNEW the members would gobble it up thus make HIM money..

There is something I should point out though, I do NOT believe Allen is making THAT much money overall with the warriors.

Simply because most of those who did generate the income are GONE, they got bigger and better so they don’t need him or the warrior forum.

Here is what Allen said to me in PM… after I complained about being banned.

“The guru hating AND loving shit has got to go around here.
I don’t like either side, the lovers or the haters.”

Um….hang on….He loves the lovers…he NEVER complains about the ones who lick arse and love the “big guys”… he ONLY ever complains to the “bashers”…why?

Why do you think? It keeps the big guys onside having their egos stroked.

See what I mean?

I told him I don’t hate anyone…not anywhere, if he read the post below he may “get it”.

Why didn’t he stop people bashing J Reese before he left?

Stable, horse, bolt, spring to mind.

He regrets John leaving…that much IS obvious.

So if I praised the big guys and licked their arses…I would NEVER have been n/a.

Thanks…but NO thanks… I am not sucking up to them at all… for anything.

If they are decent people who deserve respect then great…sadly alot of them are NOT!

There are one or maybe two mods there who are serious assholes.. they will delete a perfectly good post of yours and when you post asking why, that gets deleted, then every post you make after gets deleted…even if it is to help someone.

I know this it happend several times to me TODAY.

There has always been one or two assholes modding that place, they will follow you around in there and it winds you up…they drive you to losing your rag and getting deleted.

That place is going down the pan and fast.

I am not going to even bother trying with it anymore.

I posted there today asking for advice and opinions on the post below, one reason was it may help them understand why sometimes I get fired up, I asked if they could advise how I could maybe do something that will help me become a better poster there….and never guess what?

It got deleted!

No heart…no balls and no shame.

When Allen sorts out the couple of stupid cowardly moronic mods I may try again.
I don’t hold my breath though as they have no balls.

Warriors, those mods? More like bullying idiots.

I am not the only one who is pissed off and fed up with it.

Good luck Allen…those mods are ruining your forum, NOT the members be them “bashers” or “lovers”, they make YOUR forum work.

You don’t appreciate it.

Any opinions?

    Rob,

I feel your pain. Having been a mod of a large forum (2-3 times the size of Warriors), I’ve been on both sides of the fence. Deleting members has to be done sometimes, but I can’t ever recall a situation where a member with 5K posts has been removed without a lengthy dialogue and a pretty much mutual decision.

Warriors is becoming more and more introspective and separated from the “real” world of marketing. There’s a lot of posturing, self-positioning and gurus creating themselves. Everyone is the expert, preaching about their successes. Then there are so many posts about being a better poster, or about the forum rules, or about how best to use the forum, and don’t get me started on the WSO section…

An entire economy has sprung up around WSOs, with people offering WSO coaching and even creation services. It gives “newbies” an unreal sense of what’s what, and only serves to keep people fenced inside the comfortable little Warrior box.

But.. of course there are two sides to every coin. The large majority of the forum is useful resource. Many members offer useful insight into various facets of marketing and the WSO section does offer an excellent proving ground for new product releases. If you can stay out of the cliqued guru loving and easily “mass controlled” sections of the boards, you’ll do fine.

    A fellow WF member.

    Thanks for your comment.

Glad to see you post here and I appreciate that reply.

You are right about some people desreve deleting.. but warnings should be made, to say they warn you on the forum is an outright lie because I was NEVER warned… and if they can’t be bothered to warn an “old timer” like me, what hope anyone else?

Sad state of affairs, but at least I am done with it. ;o)

While I understand you posting anon… it shows my point that they install fear of deleteion in others by way of treatment.

I am glad you posted, and I know had you had to use your name you may not have done, thats why I allow anon comments. ;o)

If they knew who you were you would probably get deleted… shows that they DO try and censor people…be it there or anywhere else.

    Take care.

    Rob

Here’s my take on the Warrior Forum… I have never been made N/A, but have come to realize that it’s not worth posting anything to the forum that’s even remotely controversial. I make plenty of money away from the forum, but to be fair, the forum *IS* pretty nice insofar as it having a lot of people interested in IM… they’re an attractive market, especially the newer ones.

My posts are slowly becoming a study of nuanced nothingness.

A jumble of well spoken words that carry no meaning. Oh, they’re always positive, extremely positive. But it’s a lie. Nobody can realistically always post in a chirpy, friendly way, especially based on some of the questions that get asked on the forum.

My posting activity is intended merely to inflate my post count until I get the red stars. They’re important, because newer members think that people with red starts are better. Mark Joyner has talked a lot about “framing”, and when a newbie sees the red stars, the frame through which they view you is more positive.

I’m starting to view the Warrior Forum as nothing more than a money thing. Plug in, collect cash, unplug… No community, no sense of belonging. I’ve never gotten down on my knees to kiss Allen’s ass, but by the same token, I haven’t gone out of my way to piss him off either.

This reminds me a lot of what it must have been like to be a member of Saddam Hussein’s upper echelon. While you were “in favor” with the dictator, you and your family lives well. If you fell out of favor, you were executed. I’m afraid to breathe the wrong way, make too sudden of a movement, or stir the wrong emotions when making a post at the Warrior Forum… so now it’s nothing more than saluting Allen, and collecting the money…

Sad it had to come to this.

  4. Rob says:

Thanks for popping by, interesting what you say about the stars…seeing as I had 5 red stars I was also “framed” this way to newbies…this is the REAL reason I believe I was deleted.

It is obvious when I immediately after that first deleting could re-register in my own name.
using the same sig link etc.

Ironic but when I asked why I was deleted with my “new” real name username, one newbie said…”did you spam or something they dont like that here”…once I told him I had almost 5000 post and 5 stars, he said I should be a mod!

    Irony is great at times!

Yet I believe that is the real reason behind it.

Stupid when the most important part is the length of time you have been there., not the stars themselves.

Anyway your post got me thinking… it should get THEM thinking! ;o)

What you said about the lack of community is spot on, only their little “old boys club” community really exist there now.
That’s always been there but never been so “us and them” as it is now.

Saulte Allen and collect the money! Ha I like that!

Maybe you have it right there.

After all you mean little to them.

It would appear that not a lot has changed in the past couple of years on the Warrior Forum.

    Still the same old story.

Good members with hundreds of posts to their names and hundreds of Thanks for offering good advice consistently (my ratio 33% / 1 in every 3 posts Thanked), yet banned for pointing out moderator inconsistencies.

Lets point the finger, Paul Myers and John Taylor – both Warrior Forum moderators with the power to delete your account.

Recently, I posted up a really helpful thread about one of the top UK information publishing marketers, one Andrew Reynolds of the Cash on Demand System and the businessman behind the Entrepreneurs Bootcamp held at the 02 Arena in central London – a HUGE event by anyone’s standards.

The thread offered nothing but very helpful advice to other Warriors who may be struggling online.

What happened to that thread? It was immediately deleted.

Asking why it was deleted, I received no reply from John Taylor at all and a very scathing reply via PM from Paul Myers of TalkBizNews.

I was warned that if I wanted to inquire about threads being deleted that I could expect to be immediately banned forthwith permanently.

Needless to say I was rather surprised by the exceptionally rude tone of the message received.

In itself, it said volumes about how the Warrior Forum operates behind the scenes. (Much of which I had gathered anyway)

To say Paul Myers (Warrior Forum moderator) was exceptionally rude is a mild understatement in his communications privately with me.

Now, I don’t understand how a perfectly normal thread about one of the top, most highly respected marketers in the UK, how this thread could be deleted without warning. A gentleman I add (Andrew Reynolds) who is right up there at the highest levels in the marketing arena turning over millions of pounds and donating huge amounts of money per year to charity. (Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital, Make A Wish Foundation, The Princes Youth Trust etc etc)

    That thread was deleted, yet…

In the Off Topic Warrior Forum, it clearly states in the rules that there must be no religious or political threads or posts allowed.

Lo and behold one recently started up and quickly garnered some 400 plus replies, despite blatantly breaking the forum rules.

I reported the thread pointing out the inconsistency, that a banned subject i.e politics was being allowed, despite it breaking the rules, yet a perfectly normal money making and very helpful thread was deleted for being within the rules, for no reason at all.

It just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever – the rules on the Warrior Forum are a complete joke with the moderators making up things obviously as they go along.

Despite almost 2000 posts to my name, yesterday for pointing out this inconsistency – banned.

Paul Myers, I’ll say it here since you won’t take it from me elsewhere – you Sir are a complete joke and a lying sack of bs – you abuse your powers of moderation… you are rude and insulting, you sure know how to write well and you display good business acumen but it’s a great shame that in hiding behind the scenes, you have a mouth like a sewer with the manners of a 5 year old kid.

Stop abusing your powers of moderation Paul Myers on the Warrior Forum and John Taylor, you aren’t much better – the pair of you are completely spineless cowards.

As for my account at the Warrior Forum? As far as I’m concerned now, the further away I stay from the place and you two especially, the better I’ll feel.

You Paul Myers, you need to grow up.

      Hi Mark,

This is an old post! ;)

I don’t go there anymore but not for the same reasons as yourself.
I only had one problem with one mod and it wasn’t them two, by a long stretch.

I’ll still address your comment…and I am sure Paul and John if they see this could defend themselves and may comment, who knows.

First let me ask you this…is that person you wrote a post about related you YOU, a friend, or other connection as such?

      Cash on demand system?
Sounds like a load of hyped crap to me mate. :/

Now, as far as I know, Paul and John are not able to delete your accounts, unless there has been changes in the moderation set up?

It is an old boys club there and I don’t go there at all, it’s crap.
So I have no interest in talking about it, but I will tell you there are unwritten rules, one like you just said, don’t talk or ask about deleted threads, that’s a smart and bad move in a way, smart cos people WILL stop asking if they know they could get deleted, bad cos we all know it’s a shit blackmail tactic.

It’s ALWAYS been that way, accept it of leave. Simple. ;)

I don’t give a toss about the place, but I know they will never change, so why worry about it?

Suck noobs dry there, no thanks.

You seem pissed and pissed enough to name names and start a flame war here on someone else’s blog in comments… yet say “the further away from you to the better” ??

If there is one thing I do know, you will lose an argument with Paul, so don’t bother trying.

Sod the warrior forum, if you spent time doing own shit, you may not have to worry about “getting a pat on the back” at that place.

      Justsaying ;)
.-= Rob´s last blog ..If you want to make money online don’t try to do it all =-.
